Our main products will be: - Democratic Dialogue Handbook, which contains among others, a conceptual framework, a practical guide and a number of concrete cases and best practices worldwide illustrating various approaches to dialogue, making emphasis on the need to ensure ownership of the process by local stakeholders. We will print, translate distribute, and upload to our redesigned website this Handbook.
- Training Kit, in partnership with BCPR, the Project will develop a set of printed and audio-visual materials designed to transfer practical knowledge on democratic dialogue, including concepts, methodological approaches, practical cases, best practices and lessons learned. These materials will be based on the DD Handbook and other documents produced by the Project and partner organizations in the DD Community of Practice, such as case studies and learning histories on dialogue processes.
| - Virtual Course on Democratic Dialogue, a virtual knowledge-transferring tool designed to train audiences that cannot attend in-class lessons. It is expected to be used at Country Offices and universities, among others, helping to transfer knowledge on Democratic. BCPR is a key partner in the preparation of the Virtual Course.
- Learning Workshops: the Project has planned to carry out at least two learning workshops per year during 2006-2007, expected to provide dialogue practitioners in the LAC Region with the opportunity to reflect and learn from dialogue experiences in different fields, and at the same time update their knowledge on methodologies and innovations. In this regard, the Project´s policy will be to work in conjunction with other institutions and organizations members of the Community of Practice. Some of the possible main subjects for these learning workshops are: Assessment of Dialogue, Dialogues among Political Parties, Dialogues on Public Policy Making, and Dialogues on Global Issues.
